Moscow Rejects Trump’s Threats Against Iran
WANA (Apr 03) – Moscow has responded to Donald Trump’s threats against Iran’s nuclear facilities, strongly opposing any military action.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Moscow’s opposition to the use of military force against Iran, warning that an attack on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure would have catastrophic consequences for the entire world.
Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, called the use of military force against Iran unacceptable and unjustifiable. She emphasized that Iran’s participation in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) grants Tehran the right to peaceful use of nuclear energy.
Zakharova further stated that Moscow remains committed to finding diplomatic solutions to address Western concerns over Iran’s nuclear program.
